This item is being sold at an unreasonable price and can be purchased at Wal-Mart for 77$ I myself have choosen to buy mine at Wal-Mart over this
and then it literally broke 2 weeks after the warranty on it ran out.the two rear channels out of the sub box stopped producing signal. well it was ok for its price.
After 1 year that I bought this sound system from here in Amazon, Suddenly the Sub-woofer lost total sound, all cables are connected same as before, not changes on the operating system, just went completely silence on me.What a bummer, I get only sound from the satellite speakers. not quite the same.grrrrrrrrr
price was great for this product and i hope to buy from them again. Make sure you have a 5.1 or above sound card before you buy speakers like these and make sure know where to place them :DThere's nothing major in cons, except that the screen covering the speakers are really thin and can rip easy. When the speakers are turned up high, the sound does not crack and the decibel can be deafening. everything was neatly and tightly wrapped inside of a giant white box, which was in a bigger box. These speakers blow my house out. The sub is intense; very powerful and the 5 surround sound speakers are so clear. The faceplate of the speakers and the rubber footholds on the bottom come off pretty easy too so watch out for that.Other than that these speakers are the best for the money.Shipping was on time, excellent packaging and exactly as they listed it.
But this Logitech X-530 system hooked up to my computer and sending music through Windows Media Player or Pandora you absolutely give up no quality in the sound department. I'm a little spoiled as I have an Onkyo 7.1 1000 watts surround sound system that can make the dust fall out of the rafters. Very highly recommended. While these speakers are only 70 watts you certainly would not know it by their great big, full and rich sound. While writing this review I'm listening to music by Kitaro on Pandora and the sound is superb. No squeaking or odd and annoying vibrations just good clear and powerfully good sound.
